YEPP EUROPE works for youth and community empowerment and coordinates the YEPP Community Network composed of youth organisations and communities in 20 countries across Europe. In addition, we develop capacity-building programmes with and for young people in the fields, such as Community-based Entrepreneurship, Climate Action, Social Inclusion, Media Literacy, Advocacy, Human Rights, Mental Health & Wellbeing, and more. For our Berlin office, we are looking for an experienced, internationally oriented, well-organised Finance & Administration Officer with attention to detail.

Finance & Administration Officer (f/m/d) Part-time (8 hours / week)

Your tasks:

  • Assist with financial and budgetary planning, financial and contractual procedures;
  • Create and maintain annual budgets and compile financial reports;
  • Handle payments and classify all invoices and financial documents according to the INA gGmbH
  • bookkeeping system and processes and according to Programme/Grant rules;
  • Provide documents and files for INA gGmbH external bookkeeping;
  • Track expenditure and make financial analysis of projects and operational activities;
  • Control and follow-up financial transactions with regard to ERASMUS+ Programme/Grant rules;
  • Ensure that the financial and contractual rules of EU projects are fulfilled;
  • Update and file all financial documents.
  • Manage all organizational, administrative and office-type tasks and activities;
  • Other tasks associated with YEPP EUROPE, as assigned by the YEPP EUROPE Director and the Team.

according to Erasmus+ funded Programme/Grant rules

Your profile:

  • Degree in administration & finances or similar fields;
  • Proven experience in finances, administration and budget management, preferably in the NGO sector;
  • Very good German and English skills;
  • Proven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant;
  • Experience in working in international environment and EU-funded projects, in particular ERASMUS+
  • programmes;
  • Good computer skills, in particular MS Office;
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.

Salary: 800-1000 EUR gross /month; based on qualification and experience
