About Us

There is an urgent need for real change. You’ve felt it, we’ve seen it. At ECOnGOOD (Economy for the Common Good), we are on a journey to make the economy serve its true purpose: a better world and a good life for everyone on a healthy planet. This is why our movement is expanding rapidly. To meet the new demands and expectations, both internally and externally, we are committed to professionalizing our structures, teams, and processes.

The ECOnGOOD International Federation (IF) is the umbrella body for the entire movement. It handles legal and governance obligations and enables all parts of the movement to work together globally, providing key infrastructure such as IT and communications coordination and services.

The IF is a charitable association under German law, currently composed of 11 ECOnGOOD national associations. Membership fees and (internal) service charges cover about 30% of our annual expenditure. We generate the remaining 70% through fundraising, mainly large donations and institutional grants.
