About
Founded in 2014, the Kiron Open Higher Education is a social start-up that has the task of offering the widest possible number of refugees the option of an academic education and thus reducing existing barriers. After two years, participants of the program can switch to a recognized partner university to receive the bachelor's degree after the regular third year of study. Kiron is currently cooperating with 16 universities and institutes.
